We are based at Ashwells Greyhound Kennels in Pilgrims Hatch, Brentwood. We've got a lot of dogs (all neutered and vaccinated) seeking loving homes, like Honey above, who is one of our Special Needs dogs. We do have other dogs not shown here aged between 2 and 10 years old. Why not come along and see them for yourself?

A greyhound's racing life is a short one - most are retired by the time they are just 3 or 4 years old, some at an even younger age due to injury - which is why so many of this remarkable breed need our help.
Contrary to popular belief, they don't need vast amounts of exercise: they are sprinters, not marathon runners, perfectly happy with a couple of 20 minute walks a day - though these gentle and affectionate animals will happily trot alongside you for as long as you ask them to do so.
