Welcome to the Brentwood RGT website
We are based at Ashwells Greyhound Kennels in Pilgrims Hatch, Brentwood. We've got a lot of dogs (all neutered and vaccinated) seeking loving homes. They all have their own personalities and stories - Rosie (above) has come back to us as her owner had to move to a flat. We do have other dogs not shown here aged between 2 and 10 years old - we currently have quite a lot of new dogs; photos and profile information coming soon. Watch this space - or come along and see them for yourself!

A greyhound's racing life is a short one - most are retired by the time they are just 3 or 4 years old, some at an even younger age due to injury - which is why so many of this remarkable breed need our help.
Contrary to popular belief, they don't need vast amounts of exercise: they are sprinters, not marathon runners, perfectly happy with a couple of 20 minute walks a day - though these gentle and affectionate animals will happily trot alongside you for as long as you ask them to do so.
